Tiwa Savage, Wizkid serve it hot in Bad

– Mavin star Tiwa Savage teams up with Wizkid for the song Bad

– The collaboration, which id not make the earlier version of her album in 2015, is available on the deluxe version which dropped in February 2016

Tiwa Savage shows that in spite of taking a breather in the Nigerian music she is a major force to reckon with. She teams up with Wizkid on Bad and it is an awesome piece of music. The song is heavy, slow-going and deliberately catchy for the parties and social gathering. Wizkid sings in his usual pop style and Tiwa marries his efforts with marked artistry and control.

Both artistes have a controlled rendition on Bad and it hits you with the swoosh sound of a cool breeze upon first listen.

Tiwa sends subliminal messages across to her haters in one of her verses.

She sings: “Yea I’m coming to cause trouble, you don’t like me unfollow.

“You can’t talk about my hustle, you make money I make double.”

They have the ears of the listeners with the indigenous lyrics and solid drums that play all through four minutes of the song.

The subject and theme of the song all centre on Tiwa’s claims of neing unlike any other in the Nigerian music industry today. She seems to be telling the other females in the industry that after all said and done she still enjoys an unmatched level of relevance.

Her lyrics are smug, glossy and well fitted with Wizkid’s flavor and the buzzing keyboard and guitar strings so that what we have right here on Bad is feel good music through and through.
