– The governor says rehabilitation of Okota road will bring relief to the people
In what might be seen as a great development in the Isolo area of Lagos, the administration of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode carried out a rehabilitation exercise on the Okota/cele road, Isolo and Ago Palace wayOkota.
The rehabilitation of the roads brought relief to the residents in the area who have had to endure slow traffic and accidents due to the horrible state of the road.
This is in line with the promise of the governor who promised that at least, two roads will be constructed in each local government areas of the state.
The genesis of the project began in October, 2015 when Governor Akinwunmi Ambode met with the executive secretaries of all the 57 councils in the state and agreed with them on the need to massively embark on rehabilitation and construction of inner roads across the state.
